I regretably have to make space in my garage so my 1977 Kawasaki KZ650B1 is up for sale.
The bike is in very good original condition, has the original 4 into 2 exhausts and matching keys for all locks. The bike has covered 40,000 miles I've got MOT's for it going back to 1999 so am confident about that, I also have have the receipts for the services that I've had done to it. It is currently MOT'd until 15 March 2010 and Taxed until the end of February 2010.
It is a very nice bike in very good original condition. I've only covered just over 2,000 miles on it since I've had it and I’ve made sure it has been well looked after. When Mark at Powerlinks serviced it in March he said the only thing wrong he could see was that it had a very slight weep from the head gasket on the right hand side. It's been like that since I've had it.
During the time I've had it the only major work I've had to have done is the replacement of the rear swinging arm bearings and some welding on the exhaust. It has got a small dent in the tank on the right-hand side but the paint isn't cracked and in the near future it will need a new chain and sprockets. It's the sort of bike which is a good useable classic as it stands or with a little time and effort it could be made immaculate.
The bike which is located in Eastleigh, if there is any other info you’d like please let me know via email. I also have better resolution pictures that I can send.
It's a lovely bike and I'll be very sad to see it go.
