The Lancia is a 1963 2.8 3C of which only 33 models were ever produced.
This car has been taken on multiple rallies putting over 10,000 miles for the last nine years. While the car is impeccably maintained, it is a driven car. The car was a cover car for a known magazine in the USA For the photo shoot for that magazine the car was driven over one hour from Scottsdale to the Superstition Mountains and then one hour home during the month of July. The temperature was over 110 degrees F or 45 degrees C that day and the car performed flawlessly.
The car is to be sold with the original 400mm wheels with Lancia hub caps and beauty rings with Michelin X tires. The alloy wheels shown in photos of the car do not go with this car.
Prior to the current owner, the car was part of a significant private collection for 20 years where it was rallied on occasion. This owner had the car repainted.
The car was serviced by Algar Motors in Philadephia (the East Coast Lancia dealer on the 1960’s) in the 1960’s where an engine rebuilt was performed.
