The first appearance to the public in June 1960 to 24 hours of Le Mans where the car was the safety car.
Official launch of the car at the Paris Motor Show 1961, the 250 GT / E has the same part of the coupé, which replaces, but on a new chassis and called 508, with the engine forward to create space for two small rear seats.
From the Le Mans prototype car of the series are introduced telescopic shock absorbers and air exit side. The production will run until 1963.
This car in question is simply perfect, purchased from its last owner in 2008, was spent more than € 20,000.00 to restore the state of perfection in which it is now.
Body Blue, Beige upholstery, certified ASI No. 09185, complete with CSAI fiches No. 1964/P issued on 18.12.08., No.chassis: 250GTE2817.
It as a lot of certification of originality from Ferrari in Maranello. All numbers are matching, very stunning and rare piece for a big collector!
