Jensen Interceptor 111 Convertible SOLD (1974) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | Hi Everyone,
Attached are some pictures for you.I have a 1974 Jensen Interceptor
111 convertible that I purchased from the famous Chef Tell's estate.
The vin # is 2323/1339. Chef Tell had been restoring the car for last
25+ years. He put approx. $34000.00 into the car having the motor and trans
rebuilt, undercarriage and front end work, body work, etc.. The car has
the interior dismantled and in boxes as he was preparing to have it redone along
with a new top to finish the car. The car has the 440 motor and automatic trans.
I bought the car to finish it but have a new business venture that is taking
most of my time and money at the moment.I would like to sell the car to someone
who appreciates Jensens as opposed to dismantling it for parts ( There are a
couple of Chrysler muscle carfolks trying to get me to sell the power train ).
I contacted Richard Calver for some information. He says that this car was the
Brussels Motor Show car in 1975 and it was invoiced to Jensen agents in Belgium
and then re-invoiced after the show to a Netherlands agent. He also said that
this was a European spec car. Any suggestions or insight would be most appreciated.
