Morris Minor 1000 For Sale (1964) edit C104074 | | | This lovely car received a full professional restoration in the ninties and since has been lovingly cared for and Waxoyled every year.
The car is mostly rust free except for the odd superficial blemish and has shiney black paintwork and good chrome.The interior is fitted with original red trim and bakelite and chrome sterring wheel.
For your entertainment,a high power head unit is fitted with an 8 speaker system.
The engine is clean and sports a stainlees steel exhaust system,alternator conversion,cast rockers and spin on oil filter for convienent servicing.It starts first time every time and it retains it's original cable operated pull solenoid.It ticks over and drive lovely,returning up to 40 mpg on a journey.
This little car has just been fitted with four,brand new,period patern,Firestone radials that look great and are in keeping with the vehicles era.
The rear leaf springs have just been changed as the old originals had begun to sag a little.Along with the springs ,new U bolts,spring pads and eye bushings have all been replaced with new parts.
If you are looking for one of the most loved cars of all time,a genuine part of motoring history and a piece of the sixties,then this car is likely to fit your needs.I've owned this car since 1993 and it has been taxed,insured,garaged and cared for since and I can be driven anywhere. I have often covered round trips of up to 450 miles with absolutely no issues and haver been abroad on ocassions.
This car is fully serviced also.
The cost of restoring a Morris Minor will probably exceed the price of this car. However I need the space and now,sadly I want this car to go to someone who will really appreciate its value and give it the good home it truley deserves.
