This car is quite a find! Unrestored and beautifully maintained and cared for, this is a rare `time-warp` example of the increasingly popular and sought-after Austin-Healey 3000 Mk111 BJ8. Originally supplied in June 1967 as a `Limited Edition` in Gold, it was almost immediately returned to the factory due to a paint problem and repainted in its present colour of Indigo Blue. All this is evidenced by a reference in its original Green Log Book and also in the engine compartment which still bears the original Gold colour. With its original interior in Red Ambla - which is in quite remarkably good condition - it is a testimony to the care of its previous owners, the last of whom bought the car in 1999. Some 18 MOT certificates support the present mileage reading of 73,058 which is highly likely to be correct. With excellent panel fit and body line, this really is one of those cars that you know is `dead right` just by looking at it. Driving beautifully with a super engine and gearbox (with Overdrive on 3rd and Top) it shows absolutely no vices and is completely ready for some super summer motoring! An exceptional and rare example of a most sought-after model.
