This auction is for a very nice, restored 1971 Fiat 500L Bambina. The car was restored in Italy and shipped to the United States where it’s been garage kept and maintained. The body is rust free only gets wet when I wash it.

The car is registered in Fort Worth, TX with a clear and clean title.
Engine/Transmission
The engine is a two cylinders, 650cc, air cooled engine with a four speed, manual transmission that gets between 60 and 70 miles per gallon and easily reach speed of 60 to 70 MPH. the engine and gearbox were rebuilt by an Italian mechanics that specialized in Fiat. The engine is very powerfull in a car this size, it starts right up and idles very well. The fuel system was flushed and a new fuel filter installed, a new cap and rotor were installed, ignition points adjusted, and the ignition timing reset. The gas tank was replaced with a new tank when the car was redone. The hydraulic and mechanical braking systems were entirely redone and work very well. All mechanical control cables have been replaced. There are no known issues with the vehicle at this time.
Body
The body is in excellent condition. The dark blue metallic paint is like new. The cloth sunroof, framework and handles are like brand new. All taillights, front turn signal lights and hallogen headlights have all been replaced with new ones recently in August before passing the Texas state safety inspection. All the window rubber seals, chrome, badges and emblem were replace. New windshield wipers. The negatives: The rear bumper got dented which occurred when the vehicle was been loaded for shipment to Texas. This Fiat is in outstanding condition and always draws a crowd where ever it goes... it's stunning to look at.
Wheels/Tires
New custom 13" alloy wheels and tires with Abarth logo are new in condition.
Inside the car
The entire interior has been completely redone with new carpet, leather seats with Abarth logo, door panels, sun visors, and floor mats with Abarth logo. The door handles and the dash were replaced with new gauges and lower panel along with a new steering wheel. Power windows installed along with a custom AM/FM/CD high powered stereo system with a flip down face, 2 speakers in the front (in doors), two speakers in the rear. Everything was replaced including all boots, new dash, new gauges, steering wheel, Abarth exhaust. All new rear and front brakes and brake lines, rear suspension, coil springs and shocks. Along with Both outer tie rod ends, both inner tie rod ends, the center steering link, an idler arm or bushings for it, all of the upper control arm bushings, and front shock absorbers.The entire electrical system has been completely replaced and updated with new wiring and fuse blocks. The battery is also new, All lighting and electrical features function like a new car as they should.

A little history
The 500 - properly the 500 Nuova, was the second car to carry that name, the first the 500 Topolino, or little mouse was produced from 1937 until the mid 50's and was the smallest car in the world at that time. The 500 is nicknamed Bambino, or baby - though some people refer to both cars as Topolino. The new version of the 500 currently being produced will be known as the Nuova 500!

90's indie band Lush released a single in 1996 called 500 which was a love song to the car.
The 500 refers to the engine size - 479cc in the earliest models, which produced 13hp. The sports version manages 21hp from a bored out version of the same engine.
The Fiat 500 was the car originally chosen to feature in The Italian Job, but some new car called a Mini got the part at the last minute.
