This car was exported to Australia as a running chassis and a body was build by Holden in Adelaide. It returned to the UK only quite recently and is in excellent condition, having had a complete engine rebuild over the last year, with new valves, valve seats, main bearings, crank grind and a professional rebuild. Additionally it has had a front end rewire and the headlights were reconditioned. It has new period rear lights with modern flashing indicators “hidden” in the front and rear sidelights.
The car runs well, but Clynos were never fast. Clyno was a contemporary of Austin and Morris being made in Wolverhampton from 1909 to 1929.
As you will see it is a very pretty car which always attracts a lot of comment and admiration. Please email any questions. I could deliver at reasonable cost.
