.....she is all steel no rust (she is not a show truck but a very well built daily driver) it does exactly what it says on the tin, the guy i bought it from in the states was a collector and had 5 of these this one was his personal ride (and was not for sale....but everything has a price) so all the good bits went into this one.......these trucks are very rare this side of the atlantic she is one of only 3 that i know about and they dont come up that often in the states..this is a go anywhere truck...i drove it up through the us myself then shipped to the uk...picked it up and drove it back here to dublin.........i have been over to the uk several times in it........last time was july for the americana show in nots........she was the only m5 stude there.....thanks for your time..steve

the truck has a 1969 327 cuin eng from a corvette.rebuilt with new .040 over pistons ,forged 350 crank polished with new bearings, high volume oil pump, double roller timing chain,new stock cam and hydraulic lifters,,461 camel hump heads reworked with hardened valve seats and heavy duty springs,,edelbrock performer intake and carb, hei distributor,headers and 2-1/2" exhaust with turbo mufflers.,trans is a 700r4 unit rebuilt with a shift kit a painless wiring control kit for the overdrive gets about 19-20 mpg . walker radiator from a 35 chevy with ac coil and trans cooler.sanyo 508 ac compressor,vintage air ac &heat with defrost, wheel vintique wheels with new tyres, rear is a 8" ford with a 3:55 limited slip gear. Front suspension is a fatman mustang ii kit with 1” dropped tubular a-arms ,manual rack and pinion, 11" front disc brakes.,rear has drum brakes.power brakes from a 80 chevy monza.tci f100 rear leaf springs and shocks, tilt steering is a early gm unit and colum shifter.seat is a 60/40 slpit bench from a dodge dakota .body mods include hood and grill trim removed and filled but left studebaker emblem so people won't try to geuss what it is .it has been chopped 2" but it looks more.the stock rear window height was retained and just leaned fwd which kept all the glass proportionate.side vents glass removed and straight glass installed. Door handles and latches removed and filled replaced with bearclaw latches and solenoids on a remote.power windows are also on the remote.vintage heat and air with defrost.the interior is sound proofed and insulated but still needs a headliner and carpet .i have new rubber seals for the doors and new window channels to replace what is there but i have not installed them yet. ,
