This car underwent a ground up restoration 9,000 miles ago (cost approx £30,000) by Naylor Brothers of West Yorkshire, under the supervision of the previous owner, who had owned the car for 23 years. The interior is fitted with Wilton carpet and Connolly leather. The car is a GT so it has the hardtop and walnut dashboard but also has a duck soft top. (it is not usual to have both) The car has been garaged and waxoyled annually since restoration. The Engine was rebuilt by Holbay 7 years ago (now Coltec Racing Engines Ltd.) and has only covered 1,800 miles since. New Webber 45 carbs, E128 high lift cam, balanced crankshaft, unleaded head, balanced and lightened flywheel, lagged exhaust... tested at 140bhp on rolling road. (Contact me for the full specification... there’s much more) Reconditioned overdrive gearbox, new clutch/alternator/starter/solenoid/master and slave brake cylinders/radiator/electronic ignition and Kenlowe fan. New Moto-Lita steering wheel, new Minilite wheels and new adjustable shock absorbers. The Chassis is solid. Front bumper looks smart but will require a re-chrome. Sounds and drives great!
