JBW-Ferrari For Sale (1959) edit C112235 | | | JBW FERRARI SPORTS RACING CAR - 1959 Original car!! chassis # JBW 2 engine 4 cylinder Ferrari 2.5 Litre ( the original engine to the car has been located and can be bought separately ) This car was constructed for Brian (JB) Naylor by his long time friend and racing mechanic Fred Wilkinson. Wilkinson built 3 cars for Naylor, the first being the JBW Maserati that used a Maserati 200 S engine. This car was very successful and won 14 out of 20 races that it was entered in. The second car was this JBW Ferrari which was only raced three times; one win, one finish and one DNF. After that Naylor moved on to the third car that Wilkinson built for him being the JBW formula one that used a Maserati 150 S engine. The JBW Ferrari was sold by Naylor to John Evitts without the Ferrari 625 engine. Some details of the car: Wheelbase 2300 mm, track 1400 mm, square tube chassis with aluminium body with side tanks.
