Morgan +8 (LHD) For Sale (1973) edit C113071 | | | The car is overall in nice condition. It has the original Rover 3500 cc V8 engine (car has matching numbers on chassis, engine, bonnets, gearbox etc). The engine runs beautifully. Picks up throttle very good, and has stunning performance. Interior is in very good condition. All interior is dark blue colored (seats, carpets, full- and half tonneau cover, soft top, side screens). The dash is 100% original with original gauges.
The chrome is very nice. Paint has some patina. You will find some spots and cracks. Woodwork is very solid. No hanging doors. Brakes are very solid (new hoses etc), as well as the steering. Gearbox shifts nicely (the original Rover 4 speed box).
The car is 100% original. The car is left hand drive.
Car has had three previous owners (know two of them, one of them had the car for 25 years).
The car is the narrowest model +8 (as narrow as the Moss box cars). In August 1973 they became 6 centimetres wider. Also, this car still has the original SD1 V8 engine with 165 bhp, instead of the later (end 1973) 140bhp engine.
All in all a very nice driver. Price is 34.500 Euro.
The car is in Holland (Amsterdam). It has MOT and is road registered in Holland. Have driven the car to Centenary ebent in England and have been on holiday with it. Very reliable.
