Harley-Davidson Nightster 1200cc (1000 miles) SOLD (2007) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | I am listing this Bike for a friend who lives on the Isle of Man.
They do have internet over there but like everything on the Island it's a Rip Off!

The Nightster 1200 is a basic, stripped-to-the-bone Harley-Davidson motorbike that’s easy to ride and looks cooler than a Rock-Ola jukebox.
If you like the idea of owning a motorcycle that’s just pure fun, ride to a café occasionally, meet some mates, or just escape for an hour or two when the sun is cracking the flags, then the Nightster will do it all baby.
One other very important thing should be stressed for any divorced, middle-aged, men here; this motorbike will drive women wild, fact.
The Nightster 1200 features fuel injection, which worked superbly, faultlessly starting up the motor every time, and stretching out the fuel tank’s limited, three gallon, range to around 100 miles from full to near empty. That works out at around 55mpg – handy when fuel prices are rocketing.
But nobody will buy a Nightster for its long distance frugality – this is a weekend leisure toy, it’s no commuter and never will be. Ride slow and it’s a fun machine, but crank up the revs and the Nightster betrays its 1960s Sportster roots.
It might look a bit like a lairy flat track oval racer from the 70s, but at heart, this is a sunny days cruiser, with a good looking black suit of clothes on its lean shoulders. So the Harley Nightster 1200 is no all-rounder, like a Bandit 1250, Kawasaki Z1000, nor does it have the sheer mind-warping performance of something like the KTM Super Duke 990, but it has a genuine, old school charm about it. You end up liking it AND This bike does what it says on the tin, without any airs and graces and Harley’s strong resale values mean that you can lash out nearly seven grand on this bike and it will still fetch the best part of £5000 three years down the line – unlike many of its rivals.
SO Grab a Bargain as this one's only 2 years old!
It was bought from Chester Harley-Davidson in 2007 and delivered to my house in Morecambe here in the UK . My good friend picked it up from here, rode it to the boat and took it back to his home on the Isle of Man.
The Bike is in Very good condition and has very low mileage as can be seen from the picture of the Speedo.
My mate is due on the mainland on the 8th October and can quite easily bring the bike with him, and of course he would do exactly that if the bike is sold, which would save a boat fare for someone wishing to but it... The boat from the Isle of Man sails to Heysham and I am in Morecambe so it's only a stone's throw away from the port.

The Number could go with the Bike but it should really be re-registered here in the UK.
Put it another way.
If you buy the Bike and want the number, then once you have bought it it's up to you whether you re-register it or not!
The bike should to be re-registered in the UK if it is to be used in the UK, however there is a way round this but you would need to have a friend who lives on the Isle of Man or if you have an address there then it could be registered to that address.
The Bike can be collected from my house in Morecambe on that date.
What can I tell you about it!
Not a lot I'm afraid as I'm a BMW airhead man myself!
I can tell you that my mate is very particular about his vehicles and being a Driving Instructor I can assure you that nothing owned by him is hammered or mistreated. He was offered £5500 for it as a trade in against a Rocker C from the dealers that supplied the Bike but I think he justs wants to sell it at the moment as he doesn't really get the time to use it..... Well that's pretty evident by the mileage.
