Lotus Elan +2 For Sale (1968) edit C114417 | | | Owned this classic for nearly 10 years, was used at the outset as our main family car with 2 small children in tow.
Has done 100k on the original engine, in fact the complete car is totally original.
Has had a service every year and also comes with 10 months left on the MOT.
Bodywork and interior in good condition, rear doughnuts and handbrake pads recently replaced. As anyone who's been looking for these cars will know, they are getting more and more scarce and to get one in good original condition is a find.
A few honest pointers - Bonnet paintwork has a few spiderweb cracks.
Seatbelts need attention as the inertia is faulty.
Alternator needs replacing as not charging but have been using a solar powered battery charger which will be thrown in....
Has covered very few miles in the last 10 years (300 miles last year alone)
Children have grown up and we have now decided to pass on this little gem to a new Lotus loving home, this car needs more attention than I have time to give.
