MERCEDES 280 CE COUPE 1973 For Sale (1973) edit C114571 | | | I have had this car garaged for around 2 years now, I took it in part exchange after the owner pranged the front wing, it needs a new front wing, I have a replacement headlight and chrome strip to go with the car, there is no other damage.
The car is very solid, it had all the welding required before being garaged, this was carried out by a Mercedes Specialist.
The body is good, however there are patches of bubble coming through in various place. The rear wings, front wings and doors are excellent as are floors etc.
The car needs a new carpet set, I can give you the details of a company who will supply this at a reasonable cost.
The car ran and drove well prior to being parked up, I have not tried to start it but I am 100% confident there will be no problems, it is being sold as is.
The seats are excellent with no rips or tears, the headlining is very good.
All in all a very easy project to get back on the road.
