Mk1 Cortina 2 door 1500 Deluxe For Sale (1965) edit C114888 | | | I'm a long way off even being able to start this project, so to save putting it back into storage I'll try a few adverts 1st.
MK1 2 door Airflow. Reg'd 5.1.66. Built late in 1965. Goodwood green. I bought this one because it hasn't been messed with before. Apart from brazed on MOT style strut top repairs it's panels are all original and as such has excellent panel gaps. I think the sills and arches will repair instead of replace and apart from the bonnet which is poor the other panels will also repair. It needs the usual small repairs to the front tops of the front wings but they are definately useable. Floor and outrigger repairs also needed. I am happy to talk anyone genuinely interested around the car. The engine turns but I haven't tried to start it. This is a restoration project and will need trailering away.
Ideally this wants to be stripped to a bare shell and repaired properly. We all know how hard these are to find so I'm really not worried if it sells or not, if it does I know I'll regret it!
