Beardmore Taxi Cab For Sale (1959) edit C115913 | | | This is a 1959 Beardmore Taxi, it is an aluminium and glassfiber body so it does not rust, but could do with a good re-spray. The engine is a Ford Consul 1700cc engine which runs but the front end of the exhaust needs replacing. It has a 4speed column change gearbox but the clutch is slipping . The brakes are hydrolic with a rod hand brake but one of the rods needs replacing. The drivers cab is used and a bit tatty, but the rear saloon is in a good condition. It has its original meter and a Heritage Taxi Plate, the registration number is also tranfereable.
