Last of the free road tax beetles SOLD (1973) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | Sept 1972 (1973 model) hence free tax, unmolested original car with full history in good clean condition. white with stock black interior. purchased from the estate of the original owner in 2002. various original items still with the car since new, parts and paper items etc. 96k miles from new, brakes overhauled, new hand brake cable, shifter bushing having been attended to recently. This is a driver quality Beetle in clean original condition that drives very well, long MOT, comes with spare drivers door and rear wing and spare stock wheels and tyres and new door seal rubber/ plus a new running board etc. Good chassis, suspension, engine, drive train etc. Regular oil changes, greasing etc. Surrey car from new, original owners were a mature couple, purchased in early 2002 with just 72k from new now 96k.
