Unfortunately due to a lack of time to really enjoy this car I am selling my 1982 Audi 80CL. I am the third owner of this car and have owned it since February this year. The first owner was Castle's of Leicester, the main Audi dealer at that time, who had the car as a demonstrator model. The next owner had the car for 26 years and clearly looked after it.
This car is and always has been garaged, appears to be in original, excellent condition for its age and drives exactly as it should, starting first time every time. It still retains the original dealer rear window sticker and registration plates.
There is tax on the car until end of December and MOT until April 2010. the last MOT it passed without needing any work. I had the car serviced and a new exhaust fitted earlier in the summer. It has also had the stereo upgraded to period Blaupunkt AM/FM radio/cassette which works perfectly too.
I have driven the car most weekends, weather permitting and have used it frequesntly for trips to the coast at the weekend.
Included in the sale will be a box of now hard to find parts including interior switches, door handles, indicator lenses and a spare headlight.
This car really is in very good condition for its age and I would love to see it go to someone who is an enthusiast of the Audi 80 like me.
