Beautiful Austin Maxi HLS SOLD (1980) C116247 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | 1980 (W Reg) Austin Maxi HLS, manual transmission, denim blue metallic paint, tinted windscreen. Lovely looking low mileage car (82,000 genuine miles), garaged and undersealed from new and maintained in excellent condition by one careful and respectful owner (see pictures). With full service history. Only selling because of purchase of another car. Has new tyres and clutch and reconditioned engine, also new electric radio aerial. Suspension displacers also not long replaced. The Pioneer radio is fully working although the tape cassette needs attention, also the heater. There is spare motor oil, a spare set of spark plugs, oil filter and two air filters (purchased for future services), also a complete set of new hub caps (although existing hub caps are perfect) and several spray cans of denim blue paint and owner's workshop manual. Taxed until 31 December 2009 and MOT until May 2010. Spare parts when required available from the Austin Maxi club. The car is currently insured on a classic vehicle policy with an agreed insurance value of GBP 4.5k and free roadside assistance and recovery (I understand that the insurer will be happy to insure the new owner.)
