Land Rover Series IIA Lightweight SOLD (1968) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | SIIA Lightweight for sale, 1968 on age-related G-plate, complete with some military history.
Featured in Land Rover Owner Magazine November 2008, since then has been fitted with a 2.5 diesel (Defender) engine, rebuilt by ACR and in excellent order, has also been resprayed and had new doors, suspension, front wings and much tidying of the interior.
Series III gearbox - good condition
LWB twin-leading shoe front brakes with servo
British Springs parabolics all round
Rewired with new Autosparks loom
New doors with good tops and anti-burst catches
Full soft top - canvas getting tired
Land Rover 90 front seats in grey vinyl
Bodywork good - removable top bulkhead and screen are Series III, and bulkhead itself has been modified to fit a V8 engine but both are rot free
