Canadian-built right hand drive Ford Tudor, originally exported to South Africa. Imported to UK then registered in 2003 - present owner is second after importer, since 2003.
Good, solid car, but with fair paintwork. Excellent floor and chassis that has probably never seen salt! Front and rear wings suffering from blistering and cracking paint- both front wings have brown primer patches now.
Older restoration before import, but mechanically refurbished here. Original mechanical brakes, 221ci flathead (believed 1935 with original aluminium heads and intake), '35-'38 type 3-speed gearbox. Updated with 12V electrics. Has 1935 16" wire wheels with fair tyres (as in photo, including spare). Original oil bath air filter included, but not fitted.
Interior was recovered in a caramel-coloured vynil, presumably when it was painted.
Various spare parts, including original 17" wire wheels, available by negotiation.
Great to use as-is, or perform a rolling restoration, or excellent start for complete restoration. More refined - and rarer - than a Model A!
Tax & MOT to end of August 2010.
