Jaguar Mk II 3.8s for restoration For Sale (1965) edit C119449 | | | Vintage 65' Jaguar Mark II Type S. This is an ORIGINAL 3.8 S type MKII. Car is complete, in need of restoration. It has not been started in 4 yrs. All fluids drained, except motor oil. Engine turns over fine. 121K original miles. Automatic, DG 250 Borg Warner 3 speed, also known as a 3-band Borg Warner. It was in functional operating condition when it was tested prior to storage.
This is an ORIGINAL 3.8 D type in need of restoration. Originally a California vehicle, purchased new at BMC in San Francisco, then moved to Washington state and then back in California, where it has been stored for the last 20 yrs.
The body was originally finished in silver, but the finish has aged and worn thru, and it had some light bodywork and sanding done in order to refinish, as seen in the pictures.
The interior is fair, as it shows age. It is, however complete, with all hardware, glass, seats and door paneling. The original grille is in EXCELLENT condition. Clear, drained tanks.
