Porsche 912 LHD, unfinished project For Sale (1965) edit C119489 | | | 1965 Porsche 912 LHD, bare metal respray 3 years ago, alot of money spent, very orignal car, apart from later 911 seats, colour should be toga brown and the engine is the bigger 1780cc with webber carbs and an alternator conversion, the engine is not in the car as the crank requires a regrind (.50mm), I have found full set of bearings for between £300-£400 plus a regrind £100. It has a beatle 1300cc to move it about, so it is running! Some rust has reapeard at bottom of front and rear screens, and the wheels have a bit of rust on them, okay thats the bad points! i went to town fitting all new parts where i could, door and window seals, lamp lenses, roof lining, carpets, pedal and gear bushes, brake refurbed, suspension bushes, door cards...too much to list! in addition i have fitted a period BECKER EUOPA dial band radio worth £250 and a NARDI steering wheel worth £300, it would take very little time to finish this lovely little classic, running a business for my friend has taken up all of my time and i think this car should be on the road being enjoyed by someone. i have lots of picture that i can email about any concerns or specific shots you would like taken
