Mostly original and mostly complete. You’re bidding for what you see in the pics. I also have 95% of the parts needed for restoration, took me five years to find and collect them. These ARE NOT part of the auction, but the winning bidder will have the right to purchase them before I offer them to everyone else.
The body is pretty bad in the lower section, but most of the parts needed to fix it are available and it should not be difficult to fix for a good body specialist who knows his Tatras. It is not uncommon for later model T 603-2 cars in a similar state to be fixed and restored these days and unlike those, this super-rare car will be worth this investment when it’s finished.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own and restore a true classic early Tatra 603, appreciated by marque enthusiasts all over the world.. Reluctant sale forced on by lack of time and opportunity to restore myself.
