Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Auto 65k Miles Reluctant Sale For Sale (1963) edit C119941 | | | Very good general condition, original Jersey car, low mileage believed genuine, excellent solid chassis and underneath, Sherwood Green bodywork, wire wheels, green leather interior, recent reconditioned gearbox by G Whitehouse 1000 miles ago, stainless steel exhaust system, good service history file, original Jaguar maintenance and parts books, drives very well.
Recent service work: overhaul of front brake calipers, new O/S pistons and cylinders, new seals, brake fluid flush and replacement, overhaul of rear brake calipers and handbrake system, full greasing of all front and rear suspension, steering and rear axle and prop shaft points, top up of steering box with Castrol EP140, engine oil and filter change (Comma Classic 20W50), coolant system flush and refill with new antifreeze and water, replacement of heater cables to ensure correct operation, cleaning and balancing of carburettors, cleaning and adjustment of spark plugs and contact breaker points.
New door skins to O/S recently fitted, new skins for N/S as spares, the doors are in good order. Headlining needs replacing, new headlining supplied along with new front and rear screen seals, although these are in good order. Engine runs well, at its age mileage a new owner may wish to have an overhaul done by VSE or an equivalent Jaguar XK engine specialist, but it drives well with plenty of power.
