Triumph 1800 saloon (Renown precurser) For Sale (1948) edit C120264 | | | This model was made between 1946 and 1948 and is a very rare car being one of seven still running. It is however supported for spares by the Triumph razoredge club. The car is sound and reliable.The bodywork is tidy and the paintwork is good as is the interior. The engine was recently rebuilt and the radiator re-cored,a new battery was fitted last year. Most of the chrome is good It has MOT and tax(free) until April 2010.
The car drives very well as it has hydraulic breaks and radial tyres (same size as a 4FX taxi)which makes it more compatible with current traffic conditions than many cars of its age. I am reluctant to sell the car but I haven't used it enough recently to justify keeping it.This car is not in concourse condition and has areas that could be improved.This is reflected in the price
