White V12 E-Type 2+2. Series 3 FHC, manual For Sale (1971) edit C120284 | | | V12 E-Type 1971. manual, 75,000 miles.
White coachwork with chrome wire wheels and matching white wall tyres, this V12 is in superior condition throughout and benefits from a factory fitted sun roof and radio/CD.
Bodily, the coachwork gleams beautifully just as it did when it left the factory in ’71. Every V12 I’ve ever seen has visible signs of damage with nasty ‘rippling’ down the sides but this one is completely straight with no nasty ripples.
Mechanically, the engine literally purrs like the big cat she is with no rattles, knocks or horrid noises. The manual gearbox changes smoothly without any nicks or grates. The power steering is wonderful and precise. Brakes are excellent and it pulls up in a perfectly straight line.
The seats have had just enough usage to have enabled a wonderful patina but with no noticeable wear; indeed, the driver’s seat still hugs you with no sagging and condition is totally commensurate with mileage.
The rest of the interior is beautifully crisp, clean and tidy.
The underside is totally solid with absolutely no nasty rust surprises.
Road tax exempt, it comes with a long MOT.
I have never seen a more beautiful example anywhere and it attracts people like a magnet every time you park; they all want to know more about the car and you!
Having the sun roof gives a wonderful driving experience and is akin to driving a convertible without having to fork out convertible E-Type money!
I have a file of old receipts etc plus loads of old MOT certificates. The car was supplied new in 1971 and has always been a UK car.
I would think the first astute viewer is certain to purchase this fast appreciating asset as these cars are becoming increasingly rare; prices are definitely rising every year and next Spring, this will almost certainly be worth 25-27k but I will accept just £22,000 for a speedy sale.

I might be tempted to take another interesting classic car in part exchange; what have you got? Would love an old Riley for example.
