Porsche 911 WITH Chrome Windows (pre 1979) Wanted (1976) edit C120606 | | | Hi Im looking to buy a Porsche 911 with chrome windows as standard, so a pre 1979. I dont mind if its impact bumper or not (i.e 2.7s, sc, carrera are all fine - as is a 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, turbo, etc).
But I really want a chrome window model as standard and preferably a Coupe.
I dont mind if its a project (i.e non runner, needs work etc) as im a skilled mechanic (and looking for a car to cherish and enjoy), but the better the condition the better the price, and i would rather spend at the top end of my budget, rather than going for cheap and cheerful - it is a porsche afterall and they are generally best bought as "the best you can afford".
Travel anywhere in the county/europe is no problem as i enjoy visiting new places especially if it involoves something particlarly exciting as buying a new car (and where posssiable the fun drive home with the ensuring big smile).
