Armstrong Siddeley Whitley 18h.p. For Sale (1951) My 1951 Armstrong Siddeley Whitley, presented in navy blue and cream, is sadly for sale. A heart attack followed by quadruple bypass surgery has persuaded me that my classic vehicle collection needs to be drastically reduced from the current six to two.
The car is well fettled with sound bodywork, but with enough still to do to keep the enthusiast interested.
It is fitted with the 236 manual gearbox which incorporates overdrive, enabling the car to keep up with modern traffic.
It has just passed its MOT test and is of course subject to Historic Vehicle status meaning no road tax is payable.
The asking price reflects my desire for a relatively quick sale.
