33 years old and a racing car for most of them.
Summary
I bought the car in 2004 as a project from a classic car dealer. It needed welding and recomissioning as it had been dry stored for a while. When I bought the car the shell was already linked and running gear was in place.
I replaced 2 outer sills, 2 front wings, new rear arches and various patches here and there old underseal stripped and underbody Waxoiled/ Stone Chipped she is solid but not beautiful.(pictures available).
The engine has had new water pump and every gasket and oil sealt has been replaced apart from head gasket.
The engine is strong pulls well and dosen’t get hot she never pinks and revs well (no smoke) it has been set up professionally and maintained properly for the 5 years that I have owned it.
Every nut and bolt on the car apart from rear axle u bolts etc have been replaced so there are no seized nuts or bolts anywhere she is totally serviceable and ready to use.
I have done numerous trackdays over the last 5 years at Skullthorpe, Castle Coombe, Curborough Sprint Track and Llandow and any one who has seen the car will know that she absolutely flies and keeps flying all day long.
Please be aware this car has been a rally car before I bought her, and has seen a bit of action if you want a minter forget this one she is’nt and never will be a show car. If you want a fully speced track/drift car to go sideways and have a lot of fun in immediately without opening the bonnet this is it.
The car is not an unfinished project it is ready to use immediately she has a brand new mot which she went straight through last week.
There is a folder full of recipts and photo’s from the day I bought her. I stopped adding the recipts up at £5000 lots and lots of new parts.
