TWO 2CV's Plus spares For Sale (1984) edit C121614 | | | 1st: A34 JJO: Yellow/Black. 2cv6 Special. 1984 model, with galvanised chassis, replacement floor pan, sills, inner and outer toe boards and bonnet hinge panel. I wax oiled them when fitted. I ran Jojo for a couple of years after the new chassis. Been to Africa and round Europe twice. I bought second 2cv (Blue/White) for its good body panels and interior - it’s Chassis has collapsed on front end and floor is rusted through.
Both have been dry stored for about 5 years now and although I intended to fully restore Jojo I just don’t have the time now and the time has come to say goodbye to these.
Jojo needs new manifold and nearside hub (steering arm retaining bolts have sheared off in hub) needs repair work on body, interior and Ignition Barrel. All parts are supplied or can be salvaged from the other 2CV. Roof is a replacement but has suffered a 6inch tear. 4 new tyres (less than 300 miles wear) Not seized but not running.
Other 2CV engine running until I took the oil pressure sensor off for Jojo.
Also from another previously stripped 2CV: full set of doors (burgundy and cream) bonnet, boot lid, windscreen, rear quarter panel glass, ignition barrel, wiring loom, rear wings, fuel tank, carburettor, 4 Spare wheels, suspension springs, complete front and rear axels. Plus other bits and bobs. Plus set of Kingpin removal drifts.
There is potential for an enthusiast to put together a good solid clean 2CV.
