1961 Austin Mini with 1996 Cooper internals For Sale edit C121943 | | | 1961 MK1 Austin mini, MOT till May 2010 Tax exempt classic sixties styling with added reliability, power, increased fuel consumption and braking power of modern internals from 1996 Cooper (1275cc SPi Engine, transmission and brakes, discs front drums rear) suspension still original rubber cones.

Car in great condition with recent nuts and bolt recondition, sills, front panel, A-panel, underneath car and arches etc all spotless & re-sprayed in Surf blue with cream roof.
Car only had 3 owners including myself, 1 owner for 48 years. Car off the road for 19 years only 22000 miles, some service history to show. Engine and running gear taken from 96 Cooper that was sat on a drive unused, genuine only 16495 miles on clock, sadly no service history for engine as history remained with car it was taken from.
Interior re-done from original: Classic mini bucket seats with 4 point harness seat belts and roll cage plus new dash (see photos). This is a Great daily runner, reluctant sale as also have a VW camper that needs work and re-investing the cash into van from this sale. QUICK SALE REQUIRED hence reduced price of car!!!! Number plate valued at £1200 but haven't got the time to sell it (it is quite a lengthy process to sell after looking into it).
