An Iconic Classic '73 BMW CSA - low asking price! SOLD (1973) C122031 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | I am reluctantly selling my beautiful BMW CSA in which I have owned for a very short stint - but unfortunately due to a great new job offer in Sydney 'Helga' cant come. I've enquired into shipping her but its proving far too hectic on top of everything else.
The car is in great condition - and has the potential to be a good investment if someone is willing to take the time out and give her the time she needs.
The CS has been resprayed around 3-4 years ago in the original Metallic Polaris Silver and has recently undergone a service which included new window seals and a brake master cylinder (before I purchased her) but not satisfied this was enough, I decided to get the following fitted/done:
* New points
* Condensor
* Distributor Cap
* Timing
* Leads & Plugs
* Disc and pads to rear
* Fuel Filter
* Zenith Carburetor Rebuild
* New Carpets
* Exhaust refurb and period chrome end fitted by RSR
* Lucas period spotlights (not wired up yet - optional)
* New Pressed period Numberplates
* New Bmw period car Jack, chock and wrench
and a brief detailing of the cars bodywork, including wax oiling underside.
Everything works that should on the E9, including 4x electric windows, Heater Channels, Power Steering and rear de-mister. The car has been welded underneath the Drivers Floor Pan and the Rear Offside wheel bearing is whining - however I have just purchased an Inner and Outer Bearing - which will be included in the sale of the car.
MOT till July 2010, Taxed till April 2010. 134,000 miles (not confirmed)
Negative points are the car is not a concours show winner it could do with some time spent to get it to a fantastic state!

I have been invited to join numerous BMW clubs and I have been inundated with compliments needless to say the car is an eye catcher, as this is reflected in the asking price of £5700 ono
