| | | 1974(N) MGB GT, last of the factory chrome bumper models with overdrive gearbox.
This car has been my daily driver for the last two and a half years but now my mileage is going to have to increase so I need something less thirsty!
The MOT is valid until mid August 2010 and the tax runs until the end of Jan 2010.
The car has been very reliable considering it is 35 years old, fires up promptly and has good oil pressure both hot and cold.
I had it resprayed not long after buying the car and the bodywork is generally good, with one or two small bubbles re-appearing here and there (1970's BL steel...)
The chrome work is in good order and all the trim is present. Inside the upholstery is fairly clean, the dash has some paint chips but again good for the age of the car.
Just recently new brake discs and pads have been fitted, and also a new battery.
The car comes with a huge folder of history with receipts for parts and servicing all the way back to it's first post delivery service!
As I've said, this car is ideal for a classic enthusiast who wants a reliable daily runner and would make a good first classic buy. Any requests for more information are welcome.
