190sl 121-921 series engine long block assembly

What you see here is a 190sl long block engine pulled from a 58 190sl--
complete short block plus the complete cylinder head with cam as well.
Unlike other engines on ebay ( where they will not guarantee them!)
I have taken the head off and inspected the head and the block -piston
cylinders - head combustion chambers - thicknesses - bores - piston size - head thickness etc.
This way I know what I am selling so
you do not end up with a 300 lb boat anchor like others will stick you with?
See the other engines - they want you to spend many $1000
of $$$$$ for what? They do not know -- you do not know --REALLY!
So here is what I have found when inspecting this re build able long block -
- This engine has been rebuilt. The cylinders have been bored out an it now has 86.46
( 86.50 is the common listing for this oversize piston . The cylinders will need to be cleaned up with a glaze breaker --no need to bore out again . There is no ridge on the tops of the cylinders
so very little wear has occurred. The cylinder head is very clean with no
corrosion or pitting in the combustion chambers at all. All water jackets look fine as well.
The thickness of the head is well over 85mm so it is a very good one to recondition if needed.
I think it may just need a cleaning up and checking of the valve faces
as I do not think this has many miles on it at all . the cam will need to be polished.
I do not know if the engine turns over or not - may have stuck rings but that is not hard
to unstick them and then you just get new rings and bearings if necessary . All in all this appears
to be a good engine to recondition --not a boat anchor like those other over $3000 +++++one's !!! This engine comes with the front crank pulley and dampner --It is complete with all pistons - rods -crankshaft and bearings . It includes the oil pump and a good oilpan as well. Add all the items up and good used prices will exceed $4000.00
I will add some more details as I inspect it some more this week -- I will be pulling off
the oilpan and inspecting the bottom end but so far everything is checking out .

is not that expensive to do so . In fact the charges for International shipping are usually way less
than others are charging for US shipping! Again I am not in the for profit shipping business like others !
