Mercedes 190sl a clean White on Red w engine For Sale (1955) edit C122197 | | | MERCEDES 190sl 1955 Roadster
This is a rust free very nice 190sl with only 14,780 miles on the rebuilt engine !
Engine was rebuilt 8 years ago.
At that time the owner installed new Weber carbs and in addition the car now has an electric fuel pump and pressure regulator.
The car runs and drives very well and is tight. All the chrome is in excellent condition - the interior is in excellent condition and is red leather with red carpeting as well - dash is clean and very nice.
Has original chrome locking gas cap. All instruments work fine. This car has always been garaged by the owner.
This is a very fine example of a 190sl.
- The engine compartment is clean and only needs some detailing to make it look
like new again. Floors and frame are rust free also. Again you are getting a rust free - no issue driving 190sl
with a rebuilt engine with only 14,780 miles on it.
How many other 190sl's have rebuilt engines?
I would value this one at around $60,000 +++++++
I think it is way better than many of the ones listed for way more money.

He has been a very good customer of mine for over 17 years
and is an avid Mercedes enthusiast and collector now needing to sell off some of his vintage Mercedes autos.
I think this is a great car for anyone wanting a nice well kept 190sl. This is not a car that a shop has fabricated for resale.
It is a car that the owner took very good care of and is only being sold for financial reasons .
