Ford Fiesta Quartz 957cc HC 1983 Readvertised For SaleI have here a special edition Fiesta Quartz in metallic havana brown with brown/red interior. Car has covered 38,000 miles and had one previous owner from new until July 2009 when I bought it. The previous owner had the car regularly undersealed. It has a 957cc High Compression engine with 45bhp. Will easily do 70mph safely on motorway and handle nicely.
It has removeable pop-up sunroof, working radio/cassette, 13inch steel wheels, low profile tyres, 'S' model suspension, halogen headlights, red square side decals, even has the original rubber mats. I even have a copy of the original advertising brochure, sadly there is no history with the car.
Since I have owned the car I have had it serviced (oil, coolant, oil filter, new oil, brake fluid), new brake pads, oil switch and rocker gasket replaced. The radiator and exhaust are sound. Tyres are in good condition too. All electrics work fine inc rear wash/wipe, rear demister, fan/heater, and lights.
Always starts first time, has a manual choke so saves on petrol. Very economical and cheap to run and insure. Returns about 45 mpg + depending on driving. It starts, drives and stops well. Steering is tight and straight and the clutch/gears are smooth. If I could afford to run and had time to keep 2 cars then I would.
MOT FEB 2010 and TAX end of NOV 09. Genuine reason for sale is that my new job means I travel alot and needed something more suited to motorway driving. Bodywork/Paint is very good for a 26 year old car.
