Presented in Classic Alpine Green metallic, with contrasting Oatmeal full leather interior and polished walnut veneer inlays. This car has traveled only 53500 miles from new. The current owners are Jaguar enthusiasts and this was their weekend 'toy'. Servicing records and previous MOT's back up an annual mileage of circa 1500 miles a year in the last five years.
Extensive specification includes automatic gearbox with sport mode, electric heated seats. e/w/& m, half wood and leather multi function steering wheel, cruise control, climate control, on board computer, auto dim mirror, phone kit, Harmon Kardon hifi with 6 cd changer, alarm, etc.
The bodywork & interior are in excellent condition having been regularly valeted. Aesthetically the cars benefits from the chrome mesh lower grilles and the more desirable/optional 18" 7 spoke alloy wheels shod with excellent Pirelli tyres. The engine starts on the button and runs perectly with no smoke or oil leaks. The car has been checked for the Nikasil problem and shows no sign of it.
The car was supplied new by Lancaster of Reading and serviced by them up to 30,000 miles. Thereafter it has been looked after by a local Jaguar specialist. The brake pads, discs, timing belt and battery have been replaced in the last 5000 miles.
The car is currently undergoing a cherished registration transfer but is available for immediate sale and will return to a 99/T plate. We believe the price represents excellent value for a car with such a wonderful history and mileage. It is presented with all book packs in leather wallets, a file of history including the original Sunday Times advert from which the car was purchased, old MOT's and service bills, radio code card, 3 keys and 2 remote fobs.
