Ford Cortina Mk2 1600e SOLD (1970) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | For sale is my 1970 Cortina MK2 1600e. This series 2 car is in excellent all round condition and in the five years I’ve had the car it’s had a full re spray including the engine bay, new front screen including the rubber and chrome trim, rear and side window rubber seals, exhaust, tyres and battery. It even has the original strut tops! The chrome on the car is also very good. The seats are all in very good condition with no rips and the door cards have no holes. The wood is also good. The history file on this car is massive and dates back to the second bill of sale in 1976 and has stacks of invoices, MOT’s and bills to help confirm the 89000 miles showing, and includes the service and owner manuals as well as other period books. MOT TILL JAN 2011 and is TAXED for a year,it had an oil and filter change 05/01/10. This car is a fun daily driver and always gets loads of attention at the shows I’ve attended.Viewing a must to really appriciate its condition.
