LIMITED EDITION N°17 TURBO ESPRIT For Sale (1987) | Limited Edition n°17.
Lotus produced a total of 21 Limited editions made to celebrate 21 years at the factory in Norfolk. The colours were all two-tone either Blue,Silver or Red with matching leather interiors and came with a special leather luggage set. Also a dedicated, amplified sound system was fitted to these cars. Number 17 is one of the 7 Silver cars.It took 8 weeks to make. The engine was built and installed on the 14th April 1987 and tested and inspected by Frank Harris.
The car was purchased by myself from the factory and was exported to Italy at the time. It has been exhibited at numerous car shows and has covered 8,000 miles from new which makes it a very unique example. The condition of the car reflects the mileage and comes with a Stainless steel Exhaust box and a fitted engine bay fire extinguishing system.
