Fiat X1/9 Mid engined sports car SOLD (1983) C137522 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | For sale - 1983 Fiat X1/9 1498cc. Best described as shabby inside and out and in need of restoration. It also needs a new exhaust system. However, restoration isn’t compulsory just get a new exhaust and go and enjoy fantastic open top, road hugging motoring. It’s Mot’d until 27/04/2010 and taxed until 31/03/2010. Currently showing 71,000 miles and finished in bright orange with beige vinyl seats. It also has CD radio and a tow bar (without electrics) that can be used to support a bicycle carrier. The first start of the day takes a few goes but once fired up its fine for the rest of the day. Its engine, gearbox, clutch, brakes and lights are all in good working order. It might even make a good hill climber. I bought this car last October to use whilst my 1300cc X1/9 was off the road, I now want to get that ready for the summer.
