Austin 7 Special SOLD (1934) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | 1934 Austin 7 Trials Special
Built on an Austin 7 chassis #197977 in the mid 1980's this little trials car is ready to go! Having competed successfully on both the VSCC Lakeland and Cotswold Trials in 2009 the Austin had a quick makeover in December. Various "on the hill" temporary repairs fixed and the battle scarred blue paint roughly painted black (home job).
The mechanical condition is very good, standard engine with a 1 1/4" SU Carb & 4 speed gearbox. Good boot space behind the seats for added weight over the back axle. Has a few knocks here and there as expected with a trials car, and does look better in the pictures than in the metal.
Issued in October 09 the car has a VSCC Buff Form (Special) #24016 in my name, new rear Blockley 400 x 19 rear tyres, oils changed etc. and ready for action. The car has just passed its MoT & has Tax until January 2011.
Viewing is encouraged.
