Rolls Royce Silver Cloud I For Sale (1957) | | | http://www.classicandsportscar.ltd.uk/more_details.php?uid=7975 | The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud was manufactured in Crewe from 1955 through to 1966. The model was beautifully proportioned and so superbly constructed meeting the demand of the traditional Rolls Royce buyer.
This impressive example boasts Power Steering and a sliding glass division as well as other Harold Radford extra's. The Cloud I has recently had a full brake overhaul with a Rolls Royce specialist as well as a new stainless steel exhaust. The car is finished in Claret with delightfully aged original beige leather upholstery. The interior has a real feel of quality with superb carpets, woodwork and headlining. The car has spent five years with the last owner and has been in regular use. A comprehensive history file is with the car including factory build sheets, MOT's and invoices dating back to 1973.
From comprehensive records with the car, we can see the Rolls Royce was maintained by Jack Barclay Ltd from 1973 to 1982 whilst with the same Oxfordshire based owner. The file would also indicate the owner spent time in France with the car as Riviera Motors in France maintained the car from June 1974 to May 1975 with various work taken care of during this time. The Rolls Royce moved to Yorkshire in 1988 and receipts for maintenance and improvement are present. The vehicle was kept in regular use and from MOT certificates we can see the Cloud I has covered over 25,000 miles since 1988.
