- It was brought over by an approved RI while it was still on the NTHSA's list of approved vehicles to import... They have since revised that only 96-98 R33's are currently approved.
- However, their website states that; "The rescission will only bar the FUTURE importation of the model and model year Nissan GTS and GTR passenger cars that are no longer eligible for importation, and will NOT affect the status of vehicles that have already been lawfully imported under vehicle eligibility number VCP-17."
- It was imported into Arizona as frame and motor seperately, and an rb25 with only 40k miles was put into it.
- Body is straight, never cut.
- One ding in the trunk, and a couple minor paint issues (one scrape in the front bumper, and the paint beaded up in a few areas a bit from acid rain).
- Went through all EPA emissions testing and USDOT safety inspections required to make these legal.
- All standards are up to par.
- American assigned VIN #'s have been issued to the vehicle because of it's passing these inspections that the RI's are required to do to meet the U.S. standards.
- It is NOT registered under the Japanese VINS (people were having serious issues with their cars that were, because most of them did not go through the steps necessary to make their vehicle U.S. legal).
- It is currently titled and registered -- ready for sale.
- It IS registered as a SKYLINE (not a 240 or any other way of getting around the fact that it IS a Skyline!!!)
- The stitching on the shifter boot is worn and could be replaced.
