'SUPERB' Jaguar MKII 340 Automatic SOLD (1967) | | | Rarely do you get the chance to see a Jaguar MKII in such superb original condition. This car has had a pampered life being only stored in only two barns during its lifetime. With only 51 500 miles from new and only three previous owners. The first two owners were an uncle & nephew until 1997 (stored in barn number one), then the third owner in barn number two. The exterior colour is black with a red interior which is in excellent condition and a very classic combination Being a late 1967 model with 3.4 litre engine it benefits from having a straight port head, giving almost the same power output as the earlier 3.8 litre cars. The gearbox is very very smooth on changing gear and is the best one local expert has experienced in over forty years. The only work carried out on the car apart from routine service is that both sides have been painted and the crow’s feet have been replaced at the front by the third owner. The car comes with numerous mot's & tax disc’s, original Jaguar service book, original Jaguar maintenance vouchers, owners service policy, running in instructions, sales and service booklet and the owners handbook. The car has mot to May 2012 and is tax exempt.
'Time warp condition' is a much abused term in classic car circles, but this car fully justifies the term and must surely be one of the finest original low mileage examples you could ever wish to find. If you are thinking of a Jaguar MKII this is a fine example.
On viewing the car it will sell its self.
