MGB Roadster - Show Condition SOLD (1980) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | MGB Roadster, Cheshire / North Wales border,
first registered 17.3.1980; 1798cc; colour yellow. Extensive refurbishments (Steve McKie MG Services 1991 and by private owners 2001 onwards) to include replacement of all inner and outer sills and chassis rails, both front wings and both rear wings and reskinned doors.
Totally repainted (1991 Steve McKie MG Services and 2009) undersealed and wax treated on completion. The exterior panels are therefore free of any corrosion or other damage.
The underframe is in good order and the whole floor area has been wax treated (1991 , 2001 and 2010)
Suspension, brakes and steering in very good order
The engine, gearbox and overdrive are all in excellent working order.
The engine and engine bay is spotlessly clean as you would expect in a show vehicle.
It is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust and has a new petrol tank (2008).
The hood is in very good condition as are the seats (leather with yellow trim) and the carpets
It was fitted with new 15" Minilite Alloy wheels and tyres (new wheel nuts and MG badges) (£400) in January 2010.*
