Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Recreation For Sale (1963) | | |
| | http://www.oldracingcar.co.uk/products/1963-jaguar-e-type-lightweight-recreation | One of just ten cars superbly crafted by UK Specialists Zealia Engineering as a recreation of a Lightweight E-Type, and based on a genuine matching numbers 1963 E-Type Roadster, this car has authentic period features including a dry-sump competition engine and Dunlop peg drive wheels.
Completed in 1992 the car was bespoke built at huge expense for a wealthy collector.
The original 3.8 engine has been rebuilt as a correct competition unit and breaths through triple 45DCOE Weber carburetors. The engine is lubricated by a dry sump oil system, as were the original cars, and the exhaust system is also to original lightweight specification.
