1967 VW Type 2 Devon Wanted | | |

A beautiful 1967 VW Type 2 Devon "Torvette" conversion camper with a Martin Walker "Dormobile" elevating roof... red and white candy stripe and two hammocks.
A very nice original Right Hand Drive "British" camper... the roof still has the original canvas which is in excellent condition with no tears, the two roof hammocks are again in excellent condition and original... still with their covers.
The original wooden Devon "Torvette" camping interior again is in excellent condition, it's obviously been used over the last 44 years but is wonderfully original, period and has the look, feel and "patina" that no reproduction could ever replicate... sleeps 5!!
Mechanically... the brakes have been completely rebuilt, engine fully serviced, electrics overhauled... she drives very smoothly and very well.
Fully MOT'd and Taxed.
We've been asked to sell this by it's current owner who's owned it since 1983 and we've worked in it for some time so can confirm that it really is a great find and a rare opportunity not to be missed!!
