- MF10-10001 first 2000GT built, used by Toyota Motor Corporation in USA & International Auto Show displays 1966-1967
- MF10-10001 was one of the 3 2000GT's given to Carroll Shelby to prepare for SCCA C Production racing in the 1968 season.
- This car was the development car & driven by Dave Jordan to several podium finishes during the 1968 season.
- Post SCCA racing this car was used by Toyota Motor Sales USA as a promotional car & driven by company execs.
- Purchased by car collector/vintage racer Jeff Lewis in the early 70's with intent of restoration & vintage racing.
- Sold to Toyota 2000GT Specialists Bob Tkacik/Peter Starr 9/26/80
- 10/01/80 Frame off restoration began by Tkacik/Starr/Maine Line Exotics
- 6/28/1996 Ist modern day debut @ New Hampshire International Speedway Evan Demouolus Memorial Vintage Event & Concours (class winner)
- Susequent Vintage Event appearances: Monterey Historics 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, Goodwood Festival of Speed 2004
